Parents from the arab Shuafat settlement in Jerusalem came to Israeli authorities with the body of a dead 6 years old daughter. The parents said she fell from the roof as a result of the Border Police activity. The Israeli authorities examined the body and ralised that she did not fall, instead they found that she was raped and strangled. The DNA sample recovered from the body led to a 17 years old relative. At this point it is unknown if the child was murdered by the rapist or her parents. (Source Army Radio-Galei Tzahal)

So it was a Palestinian girl. How sad is that whether it was Israeli or Palestinian. THatis always wrong.
And Insigoth, Hows is that typical. I don't think that even an Israeli would say something like that.
If the family is the ones that killed her, they need to be punished severly.

Somehow or another it will be blown up into another item that the Israelis somehow did.

No I don't think so not in this case. At least I hope not. True culprit should be broght to justice, but we know in that region that will not happen, unfortunatl

Poor girl, RIP.
I guess the phrase "When Allah gives you lemons, make lemonade" is applicable?

True, the little kid certainly had nothing to do with anything other than being a victim.
Let me start by saying I do not doubt that she was killed by Palestinians and not Israeli's and the family is trying to cover it up, this obviously does happen and it's sick, and I am in no way trying to say the Israeli's had anything to do with this. In the rest of my post I am not talking about this case directly but Palestinian civilian deaths in general, which have been called into question here. I don't believe this is "typical". The insinuation here (and in other similar posts I've been noticing) is that most ("typical") of the Palestinian civilian deaths are fakes.. I mean regardless of the documentation, we're talking about airstrikes with missiles that cause large explosions in one of the most densely populated areas on earth, this isn't the best thing to chose to deny. I feel this is kind of stepping over the line a bit, and it kind of works to diminish some of the moral superiority the Israeli's hold on the issue of civilian deaths.
I think the truth is good enough for the Israeli side of the argument, it being that while Palestinian militants often deliberately target civilians, the Israeli military puts great effort into minimizing civilian collateral damage, but things often don't work out as planned. A large amount of civilian deaths in any urban warfare with high civilian populations is a fact, it's the same with the US military in Iraq, denying it doesn't look good. This is just my unpopular opinion of course, but it's something I felt someone needed to say, I'm ready for you guys to tear me apart now.
And of course RIP to the girl.

It's a tragedy that that poor little girl was raped and murdered.
Murdered by her family, the rapist, someone else...that's still to be investigated, but most likely won't be, knowing the culture she came from.
But to try to pin her murder on the Israelis is beyond the pale, and is sadly typical of the depths that the haters stoop to.
If this is a revelation to you, that the islamists use their children as weapons and propaganda tools, where exactly have you been since, oh ...the first Intifada?
Not sure if that was directed at me, if so I thank you for bringing an inadiquacy in my post to my attention, and have edited in a clarification into the first three sentences.

ariha, do you have another news link confirming this? This incident sounds horrible.

I agree. You can't pin some savage act on the Israelis.

The original post does not say that they are trying to pin this on Israelis. It says they were blaming it on a fall. Culture and religion has nothing to do with this, it is per person.
AS far as disporportioate war, if you know it is not working then stop instaed of making excuses and making things worse.

yes it does: 'as a result of Border Police activity'
It says they were blaming it on a fall.
which was allegedly caused by 'Border Police activity'

So hiding the fact that your daughter was incestiously raped and instead utilize it in a political agenda which base itself on an extremist religious culture is really just a personal choice?
I fully understand and appreciate that we can't generalize on behalf of religion or race - but do we also have to give up causality in the process?

I remember something similar, when the Palestinians blamed the Israelis for killing a family on a beach..saying it was a 155mm shell that landed there. But there was no hole in the beach, and I remember at the time thinking, whatever this was - it was no shell.
Then later on it came out, it was probably a mine that was laid there by the Palestinians to trap Israeli commandos, and the family stepped on it. But, it was a good opportunity to blame the Israelis, and the world media lapped it up.

Actually is not Israel who ultimately choose the Area of Operations, and for the whole 2.007 the civilian arab civilian deads were 2% of total arab casualties. I donŽt think that there is a cleaner "war" in all the world, yet the media causes a calculated public opinion hysteria on the subject.

IŽll try to bring some, but I suspect that details are under a gag order. Anyway incidents like this in both aspects (arab social moores and putting the blame on the zionists) you can find them in the hundreds.

R.I.P to the poor innocent girl. Sad to see how things are in the world. Hard not to pin this down to just one religion. But these people are the biggest hypocrites I've ever seen. What "God" would justify these actions.
