I know some young Marines who feel the same about Bush :cantbeli:

Vietnam vets whine so much... their sworn enemy Jane Fonda is one of the most dangerous villians ever...she must be stopped! Forget about the state of the nation, Jane Fonda's still alive!

Yeah. That'll suit Bush and his cowboy boots.

I'd say that the veterans have earned their right to dislike Jane Fonda. Let them "whine" double, once for themselves, and once for their fallen comrades who cannot "whine" for themselves.

Having said that, not only has this picture been beaten into the ground, please pardon my low intelligence, but what's your point? Kerry was anti-war. He didn't want to lose any more American kids over there. Is that a problem? After all, we pulled out anyways, and some would say that 58,000 young Americans died for one another, but that RVN still fell to the Communists.

I don't support Kerry because I like him all that much. But Bush has done extremely poorly in many respects, not the least of which is his prosecution of the war on terror (or lack there of) and Iraq. We sent kids into Iraq who don't know the difference between a Shiite and a Sunni. Huge problem. We screwed up.

Kerry's not the only one calling Bush out on that, I've been rather suprised at how unpopular Bush and his administration have become over the past few months among security professionals and military personnel. I don't dislike Bush because he's Bush. I am frustrated by him because he's gotten kids killed needlessly. At least a fair number of these deaths could have been prevented had we taken the time to build a force capable of winning in Iraq.

Have a good one, and just some thoughts...

I'm voting for Clyde the Orangatang from Every Which Way but Loose.
Excellent film as was the sequal Any Which Way you Can.

I'm British so when it comes to voting in the general elections then i don't know who to vote for. All the politicians are corrupt self serving scumbags who won't keep their promises and will end up in hotel rooms with hookers. The only thing which could make it any worse would be if they were running the country from Brussels.

I was putting this up just to see what everybody thought....Im sure he was sick of the loss of life but I just thought it was ironic that he was in the same picture as someone who did thinks that directly negatively effected lives....American and South Vietnamese lives
