could you post more info on them, their full name (Diensteinheit IX???), year of establishment etc.

And do you by any chance have NVA special forces pics?

There was a good article about this in a german gun journal a few years ago, but I cant remember which one.

A funny thing in the article was they even used the west german HK33SG1.

I believe Soviet Alfa based some of its equipment on West German stuff too.

But yeah a West German rifle in a East German police force, pretty cool nonetheless

yes, a kind is militia. the combat team belonging were claimant all worker from the state-owned and support the people police and the army in crisis situations
