You know it's classified information, but I'll tell you.
They are secret special elite marine unit, using m113s and undertaking some covered operations without being even seen ;)
But that's all I can say, please don't ask, you know OPSEC and this kind of **** ;)

all of the marines in iraq have not been issued MARPAT yet, therefore some are still wearing 3 color desert camo ;)

You also can tell its army because the idiot has his finger on the trigger, I guesss they dont teach the four safety rules in the army.

Isn't the circular button thing under his fingers a trigger for 50 cal?

I honestly don't know what that stick thingy comes out in two ways on the top of the circular button.

it looks more like his thumb is resting on the side handles...the little "Y" shaped thing is the actual trigger...just the angle of the photo makes it look like his thumb is on the trigger

The "circular thing" actually changes the weapon from single shot to full auto (there is no safety on the .50)

Semi-automatic for 50 cal?

Never heard about that... you sure?

I don't know whether there's a fire selector, but the trigger is the upside-down "U" on the back. You push down on it with both thumbs to fire.

Its known as the "Butterfly Trigger" for obvious reasons.
The .50 cal is a pain in the ass, all the procedures are easily forgotten if not practiced regularly. Dont get me started on headspace and timing.
Heres the FM 23-65 if anyone's interested.

Also, there is no safety on the M2. If you turn the circular piece in the middle and engage the lock; the weapon becomes a single shot deal. Unlock it, and its back to being automatic.
