I want to invent a holiday!

This one will be called "buy nothing day" Imagine, for example, if north america in its entire actually stuck to it... A day where nobody, and I mean nobody, in the entire continent spends a nickle, what do you think would happen?

All I have to do now is pick a date, any suggestions?

If the gas was paid a time before, thats cool, as for electricity... TURN IT OFF! all of it, especially internet.
