This month's issue of WIRED has an interesting piece on DynCorp. Mentions the Karzai job but in little detail. For an overview of the company though, well worth checking out.

In looking around the internet about this, I came across a site, www.jihadunspun.net (http://www.jihadunspun.net) . It's obviously pro Bin Laden and on the side of the Islamic extremists. What's funny, is their reports about the Spin Boldak battle that just happened. They claim 20 American deaths, a bunch of Afghan militia deaths, and at least one American helicopter has been shot down. They're calling it a damaging defeat for the coalition forces. Seeing as there weren't any coalition casualties, it makes me start to wonder if they're just a bunch of guys sitting around in a room, thinking "How many would sound good? 15? Hmm, better make it 20."
