Any computer gamers

Hey I am really not into gaming but i play this one game , Americas army.
The game runs great on all the missions including SF on my dads new toshibia laptop, but he is not home all of the time due to work.So I cant play it all of the time on his computer. On the other hand my computer (a custom made GINSTAR)can only run a few misssion including Bridge, Mout,. But will NOT run on mission like SF without crashing. Can someone tell me what to replace in my computer to make it a gaming machine or should i just get a new computer ? I am looking not to spend more than 600$ ,the amount ill make this summer bagging groceries. Oh yeah i tried to replace the the memory card with some 99$ GForce card which was a downgrade :oops:

For starters, rightclick on My Computer, which should tell you your processor and amount of RAM.
And I assume you know what kind of graphics card you have.

I would advice you to grab the dictonary yourself. Sure does look strange comming out so strong about the use of correct spelling, and yourself looks as if you just learned it yourself. But hey! That is actually normal. When one has learned something, one tend to like to show the world that you can do it. But you cannot do it. Learn how to spell.

Personally I'm not much of a fan of Latin languages. I've had Latin (2 years), French (4-5 years) and Spanish, and to be honest I thought all 3 of them pretty much...sucked. Lost most of my skills in that department these days, though I can still read French pretty well.

I don't have AIM, but if your computer is from 2000 than buying a new computer would make more sense than upgrading half the components in your computer.

Americas Army isnt THAT requiring.
With a geforce adn an Athlon (which is what he has) he should be able to run AA:SF pretty good at mid-settings.

Athlon how much? Even with an Athlon 1400 and a Geforce 3 he'd be running into troubles sooner or later on some maps...and I'm not even talking about future updates (with the added vehicles and bigger maps that come with it system requirements are gonna go way up).

My friend has a pIII 866, geforce 2 ultra, and 256 megs of ram. At mid setiings he gets liek 25-27 fps.
