Pringle
It was the first thing alot of people in Tampa thought. We used to call the Big Sombrero down here the Pringle sometimes.

The ABC commentary was a joke. Our regular guys down here are better. I loved when they called the Lightning coach Torterelli. Way to do the homework guys.

Its obvious that most of the national commenatators have never seen the Bolts play during the regular season. Half the time I'm trying to figure out what the hell they are bableing about. They can't seem to get Martin St. Louis's name right. Jasen Cullimore has honestly given up hope that they'll ever get it right.

I've been watching the Bolts since they started at the Cow Palace and then the Thunderdome. Got my Jersey with the first season number style custom made with my name.

Thunderdome was the best for pre-game. They used to play the scene from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome when the dude did the "Two men enter, One man leaves." Good fun. Sometimes the only fun you had as the Lightning took alot of beatings there.

I've been to a bunch of games in the playoffs, but unless it goes seven I won't be able to go to a cup game. Working nights. If it goes seven I'll piss away as much money as it takes to get inside.

We did have the cup in front of the office the other day though. Freakng left my 6.3 mp camera at home. Arggggggghhhhhh.

Ohh well. Nice to see Andreychuk in there. Probably going to retire after this season anyway it goes.

Ohh and two more things.
Pringle.

One more thing.
To all the Flyers fan out there. Muwahahahahahahahaaa.

The original flames were gay, because they were from Atlanta. The flamer capital of the South.

I remember when Dallas drafted Jerome Iginila then traded him to Calgary for Joe Nieuwendyk, I guess it paid off Dallas won the Stanly Cup in 99, and Joe Nieuwendyk won the Conn Smythe trophy. Its been a long while since a Canadian team won the Stanly Cup, I say Calgary in 6.

I'm not a Tampa Bay Fan, but I would like to see these guys go win the cup. Either way, each team deserves a piece of the cup.

Calgary deserves the win.
Canadians appreciate the sport of hockey more. We deserve this win.
This is canadas team right now.

well either way the cup is being won by Canadians. And the cup is always in Canada. I just think a Canadian team is best fitted for the win. Especially one from the West, which is all too often alienated from the rest of the country. It will give a big sense of national pride for the west.

Well, best of luck, but still pulling for the Bolts.

I was serious when I asked if anyone was coming down for games, I live and work right in the middle of it.

Calgary fans have been much nicer than the Islander fans were. The Philly fans were, well, Philly fans. I had a riot (good time) with the Montreal fans. Took a bunch down to my favorite Irish bar for concillatory shots of Jameson.

Incidentally, they speak rodeo around here too.

Not me though. Horse is a word followed by power in my universe, and Cow is followed by medium rare.

I want to see the Flames win. But either way, Canadians are going to win as, counting both teams, I believe there are over 30 Canadian players in the Stanley Cup finals.

My definition of a sport is theres a chance of injury. Baseball is a decent game, but boring compared to hockey. :backhand:
