Here some pictures I made on that great day.
Many American soldiers came that day to the US cemetery where about 5000 graves are including the one of General PAtton .

GOD BLESS THEM ALL

on this picture there is one white cross which stands alone, that s patton s grave. I have some pics of his grave from a different ancle, but on that day I didn t walk over the lawn to his grave to make the pic. I have pcis of his grave that I made some years before. IF anyone wants a good pci of his grave let me know.

Can you post at least one Patton grave pic??? I always wanted to see this brave man grave...

5000 you said??? so it gives 1 US grave on every 8 ppl in your country.... inded sometimes blood price was high durng that war...

In poland we have memorials of many alied soliders... british,canadian,south african,rhodesian,australian,new zelanders,americans and others... as well as graves of russians, germans italians ,romanians ,hungarians.... it is crazy. And our polish graves are in Britain,france,holland,belgium,germany,russia,lithuania,ukraine,belarus,iran,iraq,israel,libya,italy,czech,denmark,hungary,romania,syria,even swiss....

AND THIS ALL ONLY FROM WW2....

Ok here is a pciture of patton s grave , I found it on the internet although it s in my album, but because of lack of time I searched the net because I will be abroad for 2 weeks where I won t have internet connection.

3rd Army under Patton , 5th Armored Div 28th Inf Div

I will check later (in 2 weeks) for the Air force units

nice pics man. I was at the big american cemetary yesterday at omaha beach. There were a lot of americans (soldiers and even a few generals) there, so i guess it was for memorial day?? Anyway I will post my pics of normady as soon as possible.
