I'm grateful the people I know in my everyday offline life are not as judgmental as the people I run into on militaryphotos

I'm grateful for every breath of air I take. I'm grateful for my wife and kids. I'm grateful for the friends I've made here.
...and Pickled Midgets.

I'm grateful to be in school, studying what I love, in order to find a job doing what I love. I'm also grateful for the patience and love from my family and friends. And right now, my cats are giving me joy. They're so darn cute!

I'm an ungrateful bastard...
What brings me joy? What am I grateful for? Luckily, the list is long--though heavily clichéd: my beautiful, patient and understanding wife, my family (mom, dad, sis, bro-in-law and all that), my stupid, crazy friends, my writing, single-malt Scotch (the Balvennie in particular), literature, movies (including the bad ones), comic books and even my cat, who wakes me up half-an-hour before the alarm just because she can.
Sometimes, life is good.

Things that bring me joy, being down the pub with a pint of guiness watching the irish band and also being with mates.

I'm grateful for a special someone that came into my life a few years ago and gave me a whole new perspective on myself and what's important.

I'm grateful for so many things...first of all family and friends of course, a certain person who came into my life a little while ago...Living in a great country where I am able to go to school and possess certain freedoms not available to many others. Music; hobbies where I can express myself creatively including acting and dance; I'm grateful for the courageous people who risk their lives every day for their country and people (Happy Memorial Day guys)...I could go on and on :)

Yeah, I'm grateful that some of these members will never handle a firearm overseas. ;)
But seriously, I don't take anything for granted. Any one of us can be killed later today in a car accident, you just never know. I'm especially grateful for the men and women that are in the Armed Forces. We can never say how grateful we are for the troops that put their lives on the line 24/7, thousands and thousands of miles away. And more importantly, we cannot forget the sacrifices of the troops (past & present) that didn't make that trip back home. And I'll be doing my part later on today with some ceremonies on post...
Edit: The tragedy at Gander always comes to mind when anyone mentions something about not making the trip home. :( RIP
