I pulled these pics from a thred titled "customers" so a few of these guys being SF is an option ... unless anyone gets to upset I'm not gonna change the thred title any time soon ( I'm still @ work).
My intention wasn't to lable these pictures wrong ... but to give you all a chance to see them.

A lot of these pics are regular SF,but they have had customized upper recievers made for them.
There are quite a few PSD teams armed with SAW's,these guys are rear gunners, who sit facing the rear looking for fast movers.
A lot of PSD teams are getting "bumped" for being too overt, not sure if you are aware, but Bremer's PSD team has/is changing from to another reputable Security firm out here in Iraq.

My apologies
No drama's mate,we still operate under the PMC ROE's,and can still be held accountable for incidents,RTA's etc.
There will be more accountability from 30th June, where we may fall under Iraqi Law,and for serious offences may end up at Abu Graib, nobody for sure knows what Laws will be implemented.
IMHO the Iraqi's are not ready for this, there is still too much work, and bridges to mend(Ethnic),it's too soon to allow them to Govern themselves,I might be wrong, but things will begin to escalate till then, and thereafter,it maybe pure chaos...........not the peacefull transition everyone thinks will occur............I hope I'm wrong, for the sake of the good Iraqi people.

Blimey mate, the way you wrote that sounded like we were all going to die.and that the place is like Dante's Inferno........it's not, there are quiet days and there are days like yesterday........so far today no drama's.this time yesterday 4 IED's had gone off.......zero so far.
It's not as bad as the media make it out to be,and that's from seeing it out on the ground, sure it's nuts at times.......but so is Glasgow ,Manchester and Los Angeles!! ;)

Argyll, you talk of how the violence might escalate over the next month or so. Look man, just don't get shot.
Their equipements are better than most of regular Army men, but who support their weapons? Army or their contract company? and they need to pay for the scope and other accessoires theself or by their boss?
thanks

All Equipment is privately ownen my friend, not issued!
Weapons are mostly bought local,ie AK's,or from confiscated insurgents,in CP work, scopes are not essential, iron sights are just fine,if you want a scope.........you buy it..........simple as that.
Some guys have also bought weapons privately too, such as MP5K's.
they have got a good equipment? why dont the use g 36?
AMMO!!!.......there is plenty of 7.62mm short here,so the AK is the preferred weapon........5.56mm is tied to the Coalition, and is not that easy to bring into Iraq, but then again, there are a few PSD teams tooled up with M4's.
I'd be happy to take a G36C,perfect for CP/PSD work.... ;)

If you look closely it seems that the bipod is mounted in an off set manner so the beam from the flashlight would clear it.

No, his name is (was http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/images/smiles/icon_sad.gif) Chris Neidrich. He has been working for CIS and was killed some time ago in an ambush near Baghad International Airport. Here is what happend:
Two PSC vehicles, a soft skin Suburban (with four occupants: 2 American, 2 Poles) in
the lead and an armored Suburban (3 occupants: 1 American, 2 Poles) in the trail,
headed toward BIAP from CPA. Past the second bridge, they were approached by two
enemy vehicles at a very high rate of speed. SAF from enemy vehicles disabled the lead
(softskin) vehicle which almost immediately caught fire. Second (armored) vehicle
moved into screening position near disabled vehicle. Armored vehicle had a flat tire and
catches fire. Enemy vehicles stop approximately 100 meters away and begin SAF.
Occupants of softskin vehicle try to exit- some/all possibly dead or may be near dead at
that time. At least one more enemy vehicle possibly two approached and was stopped to
the rear of two vehicles and began SAF. At this point with both vehicles disabled,
remaining personnel decide to break contact. Depleting all available ammunition, PSC
exfilled across highway to oncoming traffic, commandeered a vehicle from local national
and are driven to GZ by vehicle owner. Four KIA (2 Americans, 2 Poles), three WIA.
http://www.cisworldservices.org/memorial/RAVEN18.html
It was confirmed by the Blackwater representative that those tho Poles who died were ex-Grom soldiers. RIP
