Off Topic for sure: Karla Homolka

I was watching Forensic Files last night and they covered the Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka (http://members.fortunecity.com/mastercrime/thecrimeweb/id24.html) case.

Hard to believe that she is due to be released back into the general public next year. I think it's pointless to sentence someone with "concurrent" pentalties. She should be in prison another 12 years.

EDIT: for those of you that don't remember. They raped and killed various young women in their area AS A COUPLE and video taped it. As a Christmas present, Karla helped her husband rape her own teenage sister who wound up dieing after they knocked her out and she asphyxiated on her own vomit.

Didn't the prosecution make a deal with her to help convict the husband (as he was deemed to be a priority)?

Yes. They made the deal BEFORE they knew there were video tapes that clearly showed that she was an equal partner in the crimes.

It's just disgusting. The courts thoughts were that she probably would have never committed such crimes if not for her husbands influence. How anyone could do that to a stranger let alone their own sister is beyond me.

They cant keep Karla in the regular prison population. She would be killed quicker than an erection in a blender. Not that that would be a bad thing, but the prison wouldnt want to be responsible for it.
Send her to Kingston Pen. Its like a ****ing fortress with Canadas hardest criminals.
