Ways to open a beer bottle

I was wondering, what ways are there to open your beer bottle? The question poped up in my mind after noticing that women arent able to open bottle using a lighter, knife, keys, another beer bottle and etc.

I usually use a bottle opener. Never leave home without it.

The thing using another bottle is cool, but if you're not careful you can open the wrong bottle...:oops:

I lied on my previous post, btw. I do usually have a bottle opener handy, but I also usually drink Killian's, which has a twist-off cap. I only use the bottle opener for Sam Adams or Corona.

Anything that will give you leverage or you can pry with.

What also works is door locks, the part built into the wall has a groove or space which fits a bottle cap just perfectly.

Other than that popular faves are lighters, spoons, keys, other bottles... the classics.

And most girls can't do it, except Irish girls, God bless 'em.

I second that. I bent my house keys opening a beer bottle, and didn't realise till I got home. I ended up drunkenly smacking it back into shape with a loose brick from my garden wall before being able to get in.

I put the egde of the bottle cap on the edge of a table, then bash down on it with my fist and yell at it.

Works like a charm.

My father opens them occationally with his teeth. I don't know how he does that without damaging them, maybe it helps that he has this amalgam stuff they used back in ye olde days quite a lot in his teeth. He also can rip the cap off with bare hands without any problems. I can't do neither, I'm such a bad son. :oops:
