For those of you that can't download it right away don't rush. All of the offical servers are offline for upgrade and it will take anywhere from 48 hours to a full week for them all to be restored. The personal servers people are launching are unplayable because there is no auth system, so the lag in unbearable.

Same here, I hardley ever use anything other than semi. I always catch a noob rushing me, spraying a full mag at me, than realzing he is out of ammo, so I smile knowing I still have at least a half mag to empty into him while he retreats to reload. :lol:

Although sometimes when I patrol the tunnels on the pipline maps I go on full incase someone rounds a corner unexpected.

Either way I hope the severs go up fast, im itchin to play the new SF maps.

I haven't played in awhile, but whenever I'm in a building I always have my rifle set to full auto. Whenever outside, though, there's no use for it, so I go semi.

First off, one can chose whatever type of fire rate they want, it doesn't make them a pussy. Second, It's pointless to use full auto/burst when you have to engage at a farther out distance; you just burn ammo and your shots are in a much more sparse grouping. It's all depends on ones personal preference and the given environment/situation. Pretty noobish comment, either way. :bash:

I'm not disputing the fact that when your more up close and personal burst can be a better option, but not always. It's just as easy to put a close enemy down on single, as it is on burst. And if an enemy is close and you happen to be red, or untreated, being on burst can actually make it harder to hit the target because your cem is low. But think whatever you like...

First of all, I was mostly talking about M4s and AKs, since you OBVIOUSLY can't fire off 1 round on burst... :roll: Second, even on burst, with some exercise it shouldn't be too hard to hit anything on long range while bursting; the recoil in AA is a joke. It's always goes up on almost the exact same angle (up and a little to the right). Even firing the SAW on full-auto without the bipod is rediculously easy.

BTW I hope you do realize that, on longer ranges, even when you're fully healthy and all, most of the guns are never really accurate. Even when on semi, breathing and all perfect, you can still miss your target by meters. So in those cases it can actually even be BETTER to spray your target, because you'd have a higher chance of hitting anything.

I was talking about the A2. I just always do better shooting single at longers ranges vs burst. I always leave the m4 on full because you can shoot only 1 round at a time, but still be able to fire successive shots if needed. It's a matter of ones personal preference of playing, thats what it comes down to. Simple as that.
