Believe it or not, Fiona Apple is recording in the house that was featured on Halloween H20. It's really huge in real life too. She's a nut but really hot and somewhat talented.

She's way hot, and I like her voice and songwriting. I remember seeing one of her videos a while ago. I didn't know she played the piano, though?

By the way, speaking of famous keyboard-playing musicians and famous houses, Trent Reznor wrote The Downard Spiral in the house where the Manson murders took place. Tori Amos brought him chicken dinner :) Reports as to the exact nature of their friendship were/are unconfirmed, but I've had my suspicions ;)

Fiona Apple and Norah Jones are both very talented, but I can't choose one over the other. They have very different styles. Fiona is very sultry and mellow (which is HOT), Norah tends to be a little brighter and more country, even though her songs are just as mellow.

Same here...but according to the poll, I'll pick Norah Jones. I'll listen to her every once in a while. And it's better than some of that other brainless stuff out there.

Amy Lee kicks ass. Evanescence kicks ass. But I don't think Amy Lee is the band's pianist? At least in the videos, it's one of the guys playing the piano.

*psst* I have no idea what this means. In my neck of the woods, "gunners" are either people who ride in the back of B-17s, or people who talk too much in class. Yeah yeah I know, I haven't traveled the world much and don't know non-American slang...

Hey everyone, I've figured out a great way to impress girls while still being true to yourself!

Sit in a public area, like a park or a library, reading. Have your discman out. Load it up with the music of your choice (for me, it's Samael--Swedish metal--at the moment) BUT place the jewel case for Norah Jones' "Come Away With Me" casually next to the Discman.

Seriously. Try it.

i thought she was the pianist for the band. I know she is a pianist, and i very skilled one indeed.

Actually she does play piano, though she auctioned her original one on Ebay believe it or not.

Gawd... I'm jealous. I'd love to see Charlotte and Toby Lightman... but neither of them are coming my way anytime soon.... :(
