Those aren't hi-res enough? What the hell kind of game needs more detail than those photos show? Not only that, but what kind of game involves taking the time to inspect a firearm in meticulous detail? Sounds kind of boring.

Well, he might be wanting reference photos, not for a game, but maybe for a general hi-res model rendering?

+ the better your photo material is, the better and the more you can achieve with it later on in the final texture.

A lot of members on those forums own SVDs. You can ask them if they can take a side shot for you, and Im sure some will. I have 2 SVDs in Arizona, but im far from there. Sorry.

I'll dig out my archives at home, I used the real SVD for modeling and texturing this

hey thanks for the responses. my grandma's cancer is really bad so we're just making her comfortable...as for the game i think its a new version of Firearms from way back in the day of half life 1
