Hey howdy hey!

Monday was the first day I spent carrying a concealed deadly weapon. I recieved my permit from the State Police the week before.

The feeling of responsibility is almost overwhealming. I carried in my pocket the means to take life or maybe save a life. It was so much easier to just trust in the police or someone else to bear that responsibilty. It was only after much prayer and thought that I came to the decision that I would not shy away from this right and responsibilty as a United States Citizen to keep and Bear arms.

I pray that I never have need to use deadly force. I also pray that if I am in that situation that I will not hesitate to do the right thing.

Just wanted to share these thoughts and see what the same experience has been like for those of you who regularly travel armed.

Jesus blessings!

It might help to get a better holster than your pocket

Hey howdy hey!

I am using what is called a pocket holster. It can either clip to the top of the pocket or rest all the way inside your pocket.

Good point though....hehe.

Jesus blessings!

Glad to see you take it seriously.

Go out and get the best training you can find.
Not bad. http://www.thunderranchinc.com/

I am a fan of the IWB type holster. Inside the Waist Band. Keeps the weapon close to the body and conceals well.

Actual mileage may vary.

You're a strange fisheyed cat. Good luck with the whole pointing the gun in the mirror saying "You talkin' ta ME?" deal.
