Yea, I know how that sounds..
Anyway,
I was only looking for particular pic of british SF (probably SAS) in Iraq, standing near the bridge, aiming at someone over the river.
He had this simple and primitive bag on him, for additional ammo most likelly. There was a comment, like..hundreds of pounds are spent on high tech equipment and this guy from SF uses a bag for 5 quid, you can buy on a bazzar.
So anyway I just wanted to find that particular pic, and to show as an example in another forum. No loadout BS related :) Is there any name for such bags? no, realy, no loadout BS...
I tried the 'search' obviously, but somewhy it doesn't want to respond for keywords - it redirects to blank page (it's a conspiracy!! p-))
So if anyone remember that pic, could you please post it and we'd be over with this thread..
cheers

It's a claymore bag. If any of you highspeed, low drag Airsoft dudes want to go out and buy them...

Just about every soldier uses cheap and easy (yet effective) solutions. Why spend x pounds on some super duper high speed piece of kit that's premium charged because it comes from the US and has "tactical" in the name, when you've got a free and effective solution to hand? Case in point, the claymore bag. I used to use the resealable plastic bags that boxed ammo came in as waterproof pouch liners, I've seen old pattern water bottle pouches rigged up as ammo link holders and rigged to the side of a gimpy, it all works and doesn't require a paypal account.

It's not an adapted anything. It's a respirator pouch used as a respirator pouch.
Those claymore bags are bloody brilliant. It can be easily worn with your regular webbing/assault vest and is great for quickly getting rid of empty mags.

I'm the complete opposite. I hated those claymore bags. For some reason they always fell apart on me.

holsters are not serpa. They're SRB with what i guess is some kind of MOLLE adapter;

They can wear whatever they want. The SAS has been using M-16s(and variants) since the 60s.

The weapon on the right is a CQB Diemaco. Look at the barrel and the carrying handle/rear sight
The carrying handle is 100% diemaco model

Looks like an M4, but isnt..
The Blades dont seem to use the M16-Family Rifles anymore (C-7 or similar), but instead go with the 16 Inch L119A1 Rifles.
HK 417 and respectively 417 seem to be getting popular aswell.
