IRAN is to dig 320,000 graves in border districts to allow for the burial of enemy soldiers in the event of any attack on its territory, a top commander said today.
"In implementation of the Geneva Conventions ... the necessary measures are being taken to provide for the burial of enemy soldiers,'' the Mehr news agency quoted General Mir-Faisal Bagherzadeh as saying.

"We have plans to dig 15,000 to 20,000 graves in each of the border provinces or a total of 320,000,'' the general said, adding that some of them would be mass graves if necessary.

Mr Bagherzadeh said Iran was keen to "reduce the suffering of the families of the fallen in any attack against our country ... and prevent any repetition of the long and bitter experience of the Vietnam War''.

His comments came as the United States continued to refuse to rule out an eventual resort to force against Iran over its contested nuclear program, which the West fears is cover for a drive to build an atomic weapon.

They also came as Israeli officials spoke of their determination to prevent Iran developing a nuclear capability at all costs.

A former head of Israel's Mossad foreign intelligence agency said in comments published today the Jewish state had one year to destroy Iran's nuclear program or face the risk of coming under nuclear attack.

Shabtai Shavit told a London weekly the "worst-case scenario'' was that Tehran would have a nuclear weapon within "somewhere around a year''.

"The time that is left to be ready is getting shorter all the time,'' he told the Sunday Telegraph.

Israel is the only, if undeclared, nuclear armed power in the Middle East.

Wtf ?!

I think that they are preparing themselves for the multitude of corpses that will result from a nuclear war with Israel that they plan on initiating. Ahmadinijad has already spoken of how he is willing to sacrifice millions of his own people to annihilate Israel.

I think its a fair trade, they give NATO soldiers proper burial, we help them rebuild their country after we bombed it to shreds.

These statements shows the psychological warfare state they are doing . They are making propaganda the same as U.S and Israel do , by threaten to attack Irani nuclear reactors or 100 Israeli F-16 fighters maneuvers with Greece to attack their reactor , its just propaganda

The same also Iran officials state that they pointed their rockets to Israeli Dimona Reactor ..for the same reason .. and I believe non of them will dare to attack any nuclear site since they know what the environmental disaster results that will effect both of them ..

The Cold war is back

It's a smart move really if you think about it.

Your countries economy is ****ed, population despises you so you piss off the one nation that can do something about it.

Over time your seeing as the guy that faced the infidels that wanted to crush your country.

You go to war knowing full well your country has no chance

Your country gets bombed back to the stone age you die but your people think of you as the all great matyre, and your enemies spend billions fixing the country up.

Perfect.

Why do we have to rebuild it?

Nothing for Free ..

If this country has resources like gas/oil etc that you need it in future then you gotta to build it today ..

Also you may know that the U.S had no chance to invade Iraq or even Afghanistan with out the help of their Arabian allies in Middle east countries , who have a historical and good relation with their brothers in Iraq , they just wanted to take Saddam of the power , but not to destroy the Iraq , and for sure they take the responsibility for that from beginning ..

and for sure you must show the good so-called side and aim to the world and the invaded nation to justify your invasion to them by rebuilding their county ..

But at the end this is all a BS , you do not pay them a charity , its all are debts that they going to pay it from their oil and by doing good deals with the invaded county to get more share of the Oil for cheaper price ...

do not worry about that , the politicians are not a complete idiots as you may think

I think it is a great propagand ploy. Keeps your unempoyed busy, and shows pluck in the face of impending over whelming, devastating power.

More like the Fag that farted.

It's nice of Imadimjihadi to supply his people with someplace to dump his sorry ass along with the rest of the Iatoldya's. Maybe he will finally meet the last imam when the FMJ passes through the bone right between his eyes.
