Hallo Gents,:)
I have been doing some clearance work in the garage and found these items in a box been stored for 5 years, some I know for sure, but some need id. Any help appreciated as to origin year etc..etc..
There is a French lizard pattern para jacket.
and what might be two Greek lizard version's. Jacket and shirt?
A Spanish camo shirt.
1995 Irish Army green combat Jacket, hood and pants
A Yugoslavian camo shirt.
Some more items are in the wash
an US Wooland camo Jacket and shirt.
and a Hungarian (?) Camo Jacket,
these will be posted later.
First up the French Lizard pattern items.
Name on the ink stamp J. PAUWELS & CIE MERVILLIE NH.
a well used condition, repairs to the inner collar area and the off replaced button.

Yugoslavian shirt ? 2 pockets, thin material.
Evidence of Unit flashes on the shoulders having been removed
One flash had a rounded top flat bottom shape
the other a flat top and rounded bottom shape.
Similar camo design to US woodland.
No maker label or marks.

My own issue Irish Combats,
Jacket and pants, with green "working dress shirt.
Jacket has two side zip pockets influenced by the French design seen in Lebanon.
Buttons to rear of collar for hood.
Two lower pockets, one inside breast pocket,
inside lower jacket, large pocket divided into 3 areas,
reinforced elbow area.
Concealed Waist drawstring to pull jacket close to waist.
Full length zipper, attached ENERGA Grenade Ring, to assist closure,
outside flap closed with buttons.
Hood, button fastening holes to match jacket collar buttons, drawstring for closure (poor quality, fayed easily).

Trousers, sewn belt loops, earlier version had button down loops.
Zip fastener fly, and button on waist.
Braces attachment buttons on inner waist.
1 x inner thigh First field dressing pocket.
2 X hip pockets.
2 X Cargo pockets, with button flaps on each leg.
(earlier version combats had only one cargo pocket on the leg.
Inner lining for durability.

Bottom of the box find.:)
1943 dated, U.S., unissued, so called "Aleutian Island Boots" made for personnel going to serve in that inhospitable Climate off Alaska against the Japanese.
Dark Brown High Leg style in Virtually Mint condition and dated to May 7th, 1943 and size 7 EE possibly for issue to a nurse.

Hungarian Camo Jacket.
XL Size Autumn wear? padded for warmth, small pocket on the sides waist height, one inner pocket.
Velcro tabs on the sleeve fastenings.
For Air Force ? not specifically a combat jacket because of the lack of pockets.
Reminds me of the style we knew as "Bomber Jackets" back in the 1980's.

American wood land shirt.
Named to SIMMONS US ARMY.
Can somebody identify the Unit patch?

Interesting uniforms, CR!
I don't recognize that US Army patch. My guess is that it's probably National Guard or reserve.
