Hello guys, what is a good solution to use on an eotech lens. Is windex sufficeint?

I dont know I dont have a eotech...

...I'd try with those solutions used to clean glasses...I guess those would be fine...

I use eye glass cleaner for my aimpoint.

what kind of aimpoint is it, I read really bad stories about the M4, I want a M3.

If the lens has a no-scratch coating like eyeglasses, regular glass cleaner is not good. They make a glasses cleaner in a little pump sprayer that should work. Also there are prepackaged wipes that work well.

I have a product that I picked up from my welding supply house, for gleaning lens. Kimwipes.

Never use windex on anything but your mirrors and house windows. Goto a store that sells camera equipment and get a lens cleaning kit.

Q-Tip and rubbing alcohol.

x2, ever since TOW only rubbing alcohol on my optics

I miss those cheap ass baby wipes from the PX in Iraq, I used them to clean my M16 all the time, I purchased many wipes since, including cheap one at the PX, they all leave fluff, I miss those wipes, when I was board in Iraq, I used to use wipes to clean all my stuff, DVD player, footlocker, watch, GPS, compass, then the wife sent me a gameboy, I played that instead.

baby wipes is like windex.. it can clean anything..rofl
