Look at this pic (taken e few weeks ago during hizbullah almost coup d'etat in west beirut)
Isn't this M4 beautiful ?? In perfect condition,So clean it looks like an airsoft !! RAS tactical forgrip and scope...
I wonder how this guy (who seems to be very proud of his toy) could put his hands on this weapon.
Hizbollah usually uses AK's with a few old M16A1 stolen/bought to lebanese army .
I won't believe this is an US army weapon stolen and smuggled from irak, M4 from irak would never look so clean.
I'never seen a so clean weapon used in operation in middle esat.
what do you think ??

Regardless of how he got it, that guy sure looks proud of his M4.
That could explain why it's in such pristine clean condition.

Too bad it has one of those cheapo "Walther" flashlights. Otherwise, nice looking rifle.

Never seen a scope mounted with an LMT backup iron sight. Eye relief of a high powered scope is too short to have it mounted way up front.

Iran makes a copy of the M16/M4. I'd suggest that it might have been taken from the IDF, but their rifles are often shinier.

No, its not beautiful, actually it is a pretty poorly set up weapon.....looks like he went on a buying frenzy on line off those airsoft web site...
looklike
Vltor CAS-V rail
LMT rear sight
Gripod
cheap scope and vinny made a good point about standalone rear sight with magnififed scope...
and a full auto lower....
looks like crap to me!!
pretty much not going to work too well in a firefight and I hope some Iserali soldier put a round thrugh his head while he is trying to figure out how the heck to use that scope with the rear sight in the way....

If he has all those "toys" on his firearm the least he could do is buy some new head gear

Honestly it looks airsofty, and the configuration is - like Lee pointed - crap. I'd guess it could be a replica set up for propaganda picture.

Only on MP.net could a Hizbollah fighter on a checkpoint during a civil disturbance in Lebanon be accused of being an Airsoft poser. He's been outed as a walt. Big time.

Those rockets sended in Israel direction were airsoft too?
I think that Hizbollah fighters do not have any problem with getting a real rifle...

never talked about rockets.
I was just thinking about some other M4 and CAR15 pics posted in the past that were jut toys....its called 'propaganda'.
sure they have no problems with getting real weapons.
ETA:
btw, just to keep on topic there's something wrong with that M203 step cut...doesnt seem to be as deep as it should be....maybe its just me....maybe its just the pic...

as for the M4:
there's a user over AR15.com from Lebanon. He legally owns a couple of M4s, M16s and M203.
so the fact you see M4/M16 over there doesnt mean they have been stolen to someone.
as for the SA80/L85,
UK army is not the only country that use it so it hard to tell where they got it.

since the english army is in basra , and the L85 is a damn rare rife, I'll bet a couple of bucks this on has been stolen to the brits. But I can be wrong.

Don't count on that, Iraqi units are now being equipped with M16 rifles, 5.56mm will end up in the markets sooner or later.

analyze? analyze what? any comment on how they obtain the rifle is purely spectulations.....
so they stole it, they took it off one of the unsung hero that might have lost his life to protect freedom or they bought it off some black market?
what do you want to know?
dcmetro

I want you to say what model exactly it is and what parts are bolted on the rifle, like you did for the hizbollah guy.

WOW Hezbollah has airsoft division, better let the IDF airsoft division know. Do they wear multicam and use fake suppressors too.

Boy, sure hope that hezbollah airsofter isn't wearing any rank or unit patches that he never earned. He would be in sooooo much trouble with the mods.....

Yeah and not to mention the Ambushed supply lines ever since 2003. Theres already a market for the 5.56 in Iraq.

Never said there was, just speculating that NATO 5.56 ammunition + the correct mags to put it in for the L85 are not that easy to come by.

This from a country that apparently had no problem keeping StG-44's fed? I wouldnt be surprised if some 1860 pattern rifled muskets end up getting captured in use...with rail accessories of course

I guess it could be one of the Ar-15s smuggled in to help Fatah by the US and Hamas captured them along with a bunch of other arms for all we know, but really the Ar-15 is a large selling rifle and could come from a number of countries and arms producers in a number of ways. It not above Hezbollah to make them themselves given time. I imagine they must have some machinists and forging machines in place and with CAD it not that complex to make them.
