Some of you are going a little too far in my opinion.

Here are a few rhetorical questions I'd like you to ask yourselves in regards to fisheyestudio:

1. Has he ever been rude or condescending to anyone? even once?
2. Has he ever berated any of you or criticized any of you?
3. Has he ever done anything but post about his personal thoughts on any given topic?
4. Has he ever flamed anyone or personally attacked anyone?
5. When speaking about his faith, has he ever tried to force or coerce anyone to somehow alter their belief or non-belief system?

In the topic above he simply expressed his understanding of the great responsibility he now bears by making the decision to legally and lawfully arm himself. He did so in a very humble and mature manner, and many of you have responded with sheer hostility and rude comments about how 'creepy' he is.

Maybe if we had a few more 'creeps' like him, who took the time to understand the importance and potential of firearms we'd have a lot less needless violence in this country.

...but I suppose it's easier and more fun to overlook things like that and just make fun of him instead of thinking about what he said and <gasp!> even admiring his maturity in the matter.

I agree. I find it depressing that some people here can so easily judge a man for having a faith.

I wonder how he'd have been treated differently were he an atheist.

Yes it is shame but for some people it can be a little over powering, saying that fisheyestudio never offends anyone.

Maybe not, if he signed off with "There is no God" or "Praise Allah" then he would also be subjected to abuse.

Bla bla bla.... though I don't agree for one bit with anything he says I gotta agree he's not exactely giving you any legit reason to flame on him as if he's a cross-burning KKK-extremist.

So please, like me, try and not go redneck on him, okay? :D

Yeah, seriously the guy seems very nice, and certainly acts nice. He did not offend me one bit (im an atheist) with his religious posts. Its not like he implied that whoever doesnt share his beliefs should burn on hell or something like that.

I'd never bash someone for their beliefs, make slight sport of maybe. But never bash. The "Hey, Howdy..." thing cracks me up everytime. It's so Flanders.

By the way, where are my midgets you prick?

Oh gee, I guess that sounded insensitive, hope there are no really short people here.....
