Weapon drills.
The Garde are known for their drills. They often perform at the Military Tatoo.

in the first video...he was twirling a garand correct? Did Sweden use the Garand?

No, they never did.
Norway, on the other hand, (where this unit is from) must have done.

Yep, think we used it between 1951 - the late 1960's, along with the BAR, the MP-40, and the US-Carabine M-1.
As for the US-Carabine think it was used here as a police weapon until quite recently. Though from the late 80's there have been some safety issues with those weapons, with several cases of lock mechanism failures receiver bursts.

Atleast the MP-40 was in use within the Home Guard until early 90'ies.

Having had the pleasure of seeing the marine silent drill team (yes there really are no commands! it is done completely silent) I have to say you might be interested in their performance as well, If anyone has some info on them or a video it might be interesting to compare the two and see how similar they seem.
