One of our LT's shat himself...it was pretty funny.

He was pretty hardcore btw, it's just a physiological reaction...Lac knows.

In my case, manning a .50 cal, my first contact came in the shape of a swarm of RPGs..

I found myself ignoring them and the incomming smallarms.

Then I found that shooting at people (taliban) was just as simple as being on the range back home... Except the targets were slick and moved quite fast when shot at.

I have only experience one small contact with some insurgents(3-4 men with AK's) between Kabul and Bagram.
You do what have learned back home and that's about it.
To bad for the insurgents that a A-10 were nearby p-)

I think IED's, mines and indirect fire is much worse than a firefight :|
