Are you people crazy? HELL YES! You'd turn down some of the best music of the 60's because of some friggin' hippies?

I'd go the original one. Peace, Love, and Music.
The later incarnations were just crass attempts to capitalize off the original. It was 3 days of overpriced bottled water, ****ty bands like Limp Bizkit, and lame suburban aggression. Plus, like, 30 girls got raped at the last one.

Id go for sure...you guys would be stupid to pass it up. My dad had friend that went and thats all they could talk about for months. Sure there was alot of drugs, but it probably would be most memorible to avoid all the acid and mushrooms and just watch it

Good Music. Thats even questionable at the last woodstock (99 i think it was). Other than that it sucks.

Theres too many stoned hippie-commie-homos and everything there costs like 10 dollars more than it should (ie 7.99 for a bottle of water).

Not to mention the fights, riots and assaults with bodily waste.

Just as a matter of interest are these commie/homo/hippie comments just for people who went to one of the Woodstock fetivals or for people who go to music festivals in general?

I've been to one called V2001 and saw the Chilli peppers and the Foo Fighters not to mention some other great bands that unfortunately none of you have probably heard of.

This weekend is the Download festival here in the UK including bands such as Metallica, Linkin Park and Iggy and the Stooges plus many others. I'd give my right arm to be there.

If either of those facts make me a commie homo hippy then I'll be proud to bend over and grab my ankles while wearing a flower in my hair and reciting quotations from Mau's little red book.

CJ and I went to the original Woodstock. I had an afro and he had a fur vest and flowers in his hair. We smuggled gaz through Customs so that he could go too. The smuggling involved Janis Joplin, Batman, three rolls of duct tape, four geese, and no less than eleven VW buses.

We could have made do with only two VW buses but Tane insisted he'd need the other nine to carry his afro combs and various hair care products.

You're just mad that I have good taste in hair styles. It's not my fault if I have beautiful hair.

Yes I am. If I ever grew an afro I could never get it as perfectly spherical as you manage to.

Woodstock? to sit around on the grass with thousands of stinking hippies all day or whatever? bah, i could think of many different things to do than that crap.
