F88 Austeyr/BHI Enhanced Chest Rig Question

Looking into buying a Blackhawk Enhanced Chest Rig. The internal mag pouches are obviously sized for the M4, but does anybody know if you can fit F88 Austeyr mags into them? I think F88 mags are somewhere between M4 and AK47 mags in size.

I think you'l be ok with the M4 designed pouches, the steyr mags are a little fatter than M4 one and have a baseplate that is alot wider than the rest of the mag.
They are also less smoth down the sides and have some catch points that can get caught on the pouch when pulling them out.

My advice would be to email the seller and ask them.

I know SORD Australia makes specially designed steyr mags pouches which are good quality.

they do fit but its a c##t to get 2 mags into a double mag pouch

Can any Aussies on here help me out with the dimensions of the magazine for the F88 AusSteyr?

I'm thinking off getting a vest custom-made and would like to get the ammo pouches correctly sized.

If you are going to put F88 mags in there, use them as a template. If you haven't got any, wait for them to arrive and then use them.

32mm at its thickest, 75mm at its widest and 180mm long.

I own a Blackhawk enhanced rig and to be honest, I find the internal mag pouches to be a PITA. I use the HK mags and they just fit in, though due to their height the elastic is a very tight fit. It is also very difficult to replace the mags when wearing the rig, so a dump pouch is needed (which I don't like). If the Steyr mags are bulkier than the HK mags I wouldn't think they would fit at all.
