Had I lived during the Second World War or in the heyday of the Cold War, I would be part of the Silent Service. So here's to crews that came back in couples. And they deserve some pub.

This is the USS Dallas, the boat Clancy made famous in "The Hunt for Red October".


The SSGN Ohio Class are guided missle boats with SOF delivery systems. FYI, in the US Navy, the G in SSGN stands for guided missle and the N for nuclear powered. SSBN is a ballistic missle boat.
