Q: Arktis Smock + national ID

A quick question here: do Arktis produce their popular smocks with nation flags already sewn on the upper arm part? I remember seeing some in use with Dutch forces, or are these later added by the troops themselves?

Probably bought by the troops themselves, and put on with needle and thread. However the fresh troops that leave for Afgh will receive the desert smock.

I sewed one of them velcro patch thingies onto the FFD pocket on the arm. Its hard to sew them anywhere else without ****ing up the lining somehow.

I think it is the AMB version that has a piece of velcro on both shoulders. So you can put your standard flag from your gore-tex on the smock. I don't think they come with the things already in place. I hope they don't anyway, otherwise I'd have to camo them out again.....
