Eagle Industries MLCS RRV molle Chest Rig - Military vs. Civilian version

My question is, are there more than one versions of this vest made? I have been thold there is an "civilian" and a Military version of this chest rig and however they seem exactly the same the military version would cost like minimum 700USD.

If it's thru, what does it make so special that make the price diffirence so huge ("civilian" @ 190USD). Details please. Very important! And why the diffirence (comfort, stronger, ect...)

I think it's from the first batches of the Eagle MLCS gear. It was more expensive because it wasn't mass produced.

Well..the rig is on sale now @ Ebay for minimum 600USD (and used), and the seller is claiming it's rare because of it's specifications... I need to now what these specs are... and he clearly states (in mail) that the mass production is "civilian" and the one he is selling is "military" version.

I'm actually trying to double check it here. ;) ...for that kind of money you would be stupid not to....

The white stitching is a collectors item thing.

There are two versions of the RRV though. One has a plate pocket behind the bib and the other does not. They are not differentiated as .civ vs .mil though.

There is nothing at all "special" about it...

However, for 600.00 maybe I will list one of mine. Atleast they have seen use.

Dude that totally cracks me up... These days on Ebay you see RRV, Eagle H-Harness etc etc that goes for 1200$ just because they have a frickin' NSN in the back. FFS it's the SAME rig, SAME Eagle quality, SAME material, SAME color. Why one would pay 1200 for a rig when you can build the exact same on Eagle's website for half that price is totally beyond me.

Looks like a pre-production or early production model, with black hardware. Mine is the same; I'd love to get $700 for it!

Its amazing how many versions of stuff EAgle made, the stitching the hardware is different etc.
There are some really freaky prices going on on ebay for MLCS,MBSS stuff etc.Its ridiculous
