By what standard are you judging or wanting these units to be judged by? It appears that the top 3 you have put on the poll have already made some sort of pre-qualification (ABN/AASLT). If you want the best on paper direct your question to BLDG. 4 at Ft. Benning they will give you the top score of last years certification testing.

OPSEC? Let me ask you this...... Lets say Im an infantry/ranger/sf soldier.. What can I tell people and what CANT I tell people? Can I set up a website with my daily journal on it with photos and video to show all the fun and action I had and censoring the "sensitive" information? what is the sensitive info?

What in the world do you think they are then? Maintenence?? To be in any of the them you have to be infantry first (in most cases)..

It would not be a good idea to set up a personal website. People outside of your unit generally don't need to know what unit you are in, where you are stationed, when you are going to the field, deploying, etc. The higher up the operational ladder you go (line units to Special Operations), the tighter your lips need to be.

I would refrain from making it easier for people that wish to do harm to others. Like listing units and where there headquarters are. Now, if you're a soldier who's proud of what he's done, and you post a website about stuff you've done, Ranger School, Pathfinder school, etc..... there's nothing wrong with that. I would define that keeping OPSEC would be keeping a lid on anything that could be used against someone else.

Ouch, you must hate the US Army's webpage then that lists stuff like this or the Department of Defense who make such knowledge easily obtained.

Gent's I'm telling you, it's the Boy Scout Commandos. They have got to be the hardest bunch of steely eyed killers I've ever met. Either them, or one of the many elite airsoft teams proudly displaying their many hard won battle awards.

In my opinion the best army infantry is the Rangers.
But if you want the best, look at MEU's :)
