Have you seen the pictures coming out of Iraq lately? If that question brings images of Abu Ghraib prison to mind, that's because the mainstream media sucks!

The fact is that tons of good work is being done every day in Iraq but you'd never know it watching the nightly news. So when someone in the Navy sent me a CD full of Iraq reconstruction work, I knew it needed to get in a video ASAP! The problem was that I didn't have time to make another video because of some big projects I'm working on. This is where Kris McKenna stepped up big time.

You'll remember Kris from his great work on the American Heroes video released back in March. Well he did another great job on this one set to a song by Moby and using pictures from that CD sent in to GrouchyMedia. It's a refreshing change to what you see on TV these days and a nice tribute to those out there making a difference for the people of Iraq.

Kris is even working on a screen play for a movie called 'Five Fallen Heroes' about military life. He's looking for stories from people who've been there so if you have something to share, get in touch with him here.

I was also sent an email this week from someone in the Iowa Army National Guard. If you want a personal view on what's going on in Iraq, check out this list of progress being made.

I find it funny that they used a moby song. He's super anti-war hippie tree hugger man.

I don't care about Moby, although I like his music....

Very nice video.

My favorite from Grouchy so far. I like the gung-ho ones too, but I find this one more powerful. Moving.

Very funny.

American troops making progress in the reconstruction of Iraq is a sight to enjoy. These men work hard and deserve a tribute, too. :)

Everywhere you go in Baghdad, there is some form of reconstruction going on,and hats of to the Iraqi's for not being intimidated from doing so,the more they realise that what they are doing is for them ,then the better the country will be,next job I'm on I'll try and get some pictures. ;)

That's actually pretty funny Argyll last time I watched ITV news one of the reporters ended his report in Baghdad with "look at the skyline of baghdad, there are no signs of reconstruction whatsoever." I guess that shows what kind of agenda ITV have (oh well who takes ITV seiously anyway? :D).

Stay safe over there.

A bit wierd that he would allow his msuic to be used on BHD if that were the case? :|
