Were the M40/67 RRs made by different manufacturers and not by a single company alone?

What is an M40/67? I know of M40 rifles and gas masks, and M67 hand grenades...

I belive he means the M40/67 Recoiless rifles.

Yeah, I was talking about the recoiless rifles. Should've explained it fully.
