Damned you bet me to it! :D
The sequence with those dead Japs in the surf from the aftermath of the battles at Milne Bay in Ny-Guinea??
If I don't remember wrong a landing of Japanese forces was repulsed there.
Or from Guadalcanal or Rendova??

Another forum I visit. Credit wasn't given there, so I didn't give it here. I noticed there was an email address at the beginning though if you had questions for the video's creator.

I do, his name is Gerard and he's from Ireland. He originally posted on the forum that he goes to (and where I go) and I think he would like credit. I noticed the video from the URL of the video.

Great video but I thought it was odd that Richard Nixon was shown comforting a widow - that must have been from the Vietnam war :)

IIRC those aren't Japanese soldiers - note the leggings. These were American soldiers and IIRC again it was one of the first pictures of American dead released during the war. I think it was Bougainville or New Guinea. If you find a good copy you can see maggots crawling on their bodies.
Found it - Buna, New Guinea. Photographer George Strock from LIFE.

No, you're wrong. She is right.
Hans Zimmer did both BHD and Pearl Harbor, so I can understand the confusion. But it is Black Hawk Down - Leave No Man Behind.

The piece called "Leave No Man Behind" by Zimmer was used in Black Hawk Down.
However, it may not have been made for the movie (BHD) and it may have been used in multiple movies including Pearl Harbor.

Not possible - Pearl Harbor came before Black Hawk Down.

Show me where it was used. There may have been compositions like it (Like I said, Zimmer did both films) But I find it hard to believe it was used in a movie that was created before it was.

I'm not sure about the Pearl Harbor thing, but it was definitely used in Black Hawk Down. Click on that link, scroll down, and click on "Leave No Man Behind" , they play a 30-second audio sample.

That is the song im talking about. Thats the one at the beginning of Pearl Harbor and its also by the Hans Zimmer dude. If you listen to them both they sound allmost exactly alike. One of them seems to be like a... (remix kind of) of one of them.

Click on Leave No Man Behind.
And be proved wrong.
Listen dude, I own almost all of Zimmer's CDs from all of the movies he did, and he likes the same style - which is why they sound kinda the same. But to someone like me who knows Hans's stuff well, you CAN tell the difference.
Another example is of a part in PH where Zimmer throws in some heavy drums in a Japanese scene when they're talking about the torpedoes. He uses almost the same drums in a selection from Gladiator. Same song? No. Same instruments? Yes.
See the difference?

Cut it out children :bash:
This is the type of attitude that makes war possible !!
The Tennessee song from PH and the song from the video sound somewhat alike, I agree. I downloaded the song and can see where you're coming from.
Vance sent me the BHD song, Leave No Man Behind, a while ago. I immediately liked it and played it over and over again. The song is embedded in my mind.
When I saw this video, I immediately knew it was Leave No Man Behind. I even listened to them again, and compared it to the video, JUST to make sure. But I stopped comparing before I got a quarter of the way through - I didn't need to anymore. They sound exactly the same. Listen to each of the beginnings - there's no mistaking that they are the same song.
btw, I'm not arguing with you Chrome, I just don't want the song to be wrongly credited.
