Ok this might sound like some airsoft question of some sort but it is not. I need to gather this information for an armed forces day to come here in Canukia. Basically there will be some M-113 and *possibly* a Huey in display and some reenactor (no airsofters, Living History) and explain talk to people about the canadian involvement in Vietnam.
Some of the guy already know a lot about "regular" infantry but the SOF units remain vague. It is known that Canadians served in SOG and LRRP units but I can't find statistics (though I suspect there must not be a whole lot considering Canadians were given visas to enlist and bcame US citizens) about how many mens sevred in such unit.
Thanks in advance for you help

Here's a book that might help answer certain question, although I can't help you with your request.

Ask Ann Coulter ;)
For example, Plaster describes how two Chinese advisers were killed when reconnaissance team (RT) Maine ambushed an NVA company command element, killing the commander, his three platoon leaders and two Chinese advisers as they gathered for lunch. Plaster also tells about the "crazy Canadians" who served in the U.S. Army with MACV-SOG, including Robert Graham, who once carried a Simpsons (Sears) 55-pound hunting bow and shot broadhead-tipped arrows at the NVA during a firefight.

Yup I already read about that in Plaster's book. There is also a canadian in the L Co. Ranger (101st) in 69.
I'm sure there's more though, thanks for your input guys, it's really appreciated.

As an aside, the most decorated soldier from Vietnam was born in Ontario. Can't remember his name though.

The first two that come to mind, Joe Hooper and Bob Howard, are both Southerners (S. Carolina and Alabama respectively).

Doing some research I either came up with Lt. Col. Anthony Herbert or Joe Hooper.
I think Bob Howard was the most decorated SF though (I'll have to check that back in Plaster's book)
