War/Emergency Plan White - USA 1920s

Hi guys,

Not sure if anyone around here knows any good military archives online -but I'm looking for a copy of War/Emergency Plan White developed by the US General Staff in the early 1920s, to be used in the case of domestic insurrection. Can anyone help me out? I've tried searching through NARA - and couldn't find anything... I have a feeling I may have to drive out to the War College's library and dig around (by hand) in their archives :(

I need to find a copy of the war plan to help support my thesis for an academic paper I'm working on - so Im trying to avoid wikipedia as a source. :(

I'm not interested in Garden Plot, since my paper focuses on labor unrest of the late 19th/early 20th century, particularly 'communist' subversions - which is what White was written to counter..

I was just wondering if anyone else could help me out with online sources, so that I dont have to drive out to the War College :( :(

I guess maybe try to see if your library has 'American War Plans 1919-1941', by Steven T. Ross. Volume 1: Peactime War Plans, 1919-1935. Do you absolutely NEED to read the original?
