Repugnant and way the hell over the line. The left is truly re-writing the definition of 'scum sucking bottom feeder' right now. How pathetic that they are so afraid of this woman that email hacking is the level of desperation they will stoop to in order to take her out. Not saying that this is Obama's campaign, but it sure as hell isn't going to be anyone anti-Obama either.

Are you really that dense? Maybe it's simply because they're assholes and she's in the news. Do some research there Hannity.

Now every time the real media brings up some pertinent fact questioning all of her bullsh*t reformer creds it'll be lumped together with these twats to create a new distraction. And frankly it probably will help her career by galvanizing the rightwingnuts because they don't like in none when their womenfolk are treated with disrespect by foreigners and lefty hippies and Muslims. *spits chaw*

This has the makings of a cage match campaign.

Just as businesses and combatants have adapted to technological change or have been creamed by their competition that did, so do political campaigns.

I would have thought that nowadays, once a prospective candidate has been vetted and chosen, and BEFORE announcment to the public, the candidate would have been autopsied, dissected, and repeatedly probed anally.

I wouldn't blink when demanding every computer, laptop, pda, cellphone, login, password, browser history, etc.

And this is for an "old person" with memories of pre internet rotary dial telephone days.

We were just discussing this last weekend........I can't even IMAGINE how many problems people are creating for themselves with their email/internet behavior today.....that will come back to seriously haunt them tomorrow.

I wonder if they'll have to start vetting/managing prospects for election at the age of 5 to ensure they don't get busted later in life on the campaign trail for viewing Tom of Finland **** or receiving a rascist joke email way back in 2011

But if she open a private account for work she doesn't need the secret service, she needs a babysitter.

Ok this may explain that:

This morning driving to work i was listening the the MJ MORNING SHOW and what were they doing? THEY WERE CALLING BRISTOL PALIN (Sarah's unwed pregnant teen daughter) CELL PHONE ! I was like WTF ?! And it was legit. The phone was not on, they were going directly to the voice mail and the message was like "Hi this is Bristol, please leave a message".

I was wondering where the heck they got the number... I turned the radio on in the middle of it so I probably missed it. I was wondering if they got it off her myspace page or something like that. Now I read this ... They might have gotten the number from screenshots of Sarah's mailbox what do you think?

It's some 1337 haxxor showing off, then like a dumbass posts it on the net, some other asshats take screens before it all goes buhbye, and now you have radio stations calling a knocked up 17 yr old to listen to her voicemail messaqe.

But by all means, lets use our rearview mirror to try to find some kind of justification for breaking the law...hell, it's not like it can be used in an investigation now, if there was even something to check-out.

And if anyone really thinks their email is safe, be it a government account or a private business, they are living in a dream world. There is no longer anything remotely private on the intertubes.

NASHVILLE – The son of state Rep. Mike Kernell has been contacted by authorities in connection with a probe into the hacking of personal e-mail of vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, Kernell told The Tennessean.
Kernell, a Memphis Democrat, said his 20-year-old son David had been contacted by authorities investigating the hacking of Palin’s personal e-mail account, the newspaper reported on its Web site this afternoon.
The FBI and the Secret Service started a formal investigation Wednesday into the hacking, according to the Associated Press.
David Kernell is a student at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.

Do you believe that they investigate EVERYONE who browsed that certain thread or even the website in general ?

Do you know how many visitors they have ? Impossible.

Thread? No. Email? Quite possibly. According to some sources the numbers never reached more than a few hundred. But then if this representitives son really is the guy that did the hacking and not some guy who wanted to take credit in order to brag then they might forego some of the others. I can't really say since I'm not associated with their IT crimes dept.

Personally it sounds like it would have been more fun to read Levi "Shootin' Sh*t" Johnsons myspace page before it was taken down.

I find it it interesting that Governor Palin uses her own private email to do government business. Nice way to do dodgy off the record stuff huhh no paper trail there :-(

Here is what the hacker had to say about what he saw:

I read though the emails… ALL OF THEM… before I posted, and what I concluded was anticlimactic, there was nothing there, nothing incriminating, nothing that would derail her campaign as I had hoped, all I saw was personal stuff, some clerical stuff from when she was governor…. And pictures of her family

Minor clerical stuff. OOOOOOOHHHH, the scandal!

Why don't you look for yourself. Search for the screen shots on Google, I'm sure they're still up there.

Do you actually have evidence for this?

Her staff already said that she and her staff send and recieved goverment-related mails via her fricking Yahoo account, Wierd.com posted headlines from her mail that are clearly goverment-related, althought their agency offers them a secure E-Mail that they are supposed to use according to their guidelines and they are actually violating US-Transparency law when using a private mail for goverment-related stuff.

gov.sarah@yahoo.com... Clever.

If lawyers get involved, there is always a paper trail, no matter how well you think you have hidden it.

Whoever said this is the work of Chaotic Evil is off by a bit. Whoever said this is the work of the left is wrong. This was Chaotic Neutral with no political or profound agenda. Just lulz.

I noticed some of you have pointed this out already, good on you.

The big question still is:

Why the heck did Palin use Yahoo!-mail for official business?

What will she use to run the white house? Facebook?

Right. And the "hacker" just happened to be the son of a Democratic state representative, with the kid admits to looking for incriminating stuff. Right.... no agenda.

Now if you will excuse me, I'm off to polish my tinfoil hat. p-)

Fact is it was a useless exercise.

But maybe someone should explain to her that she needs to stop f*cking around on unsecure servers. Facebook would come in handy for her to fill cabinet positions with all of her retard high school classmates though.

Even if that this was the case and he did it to harm Palin doesn't mean that every democrat does agree with. It was the action of a single person in the end.

Such Freemail, MySpace, Facebook-Profiles have been "hacked" since a long long time before, most of the time it was the accounts of people who no one cares about. It still happened, nothing new, not the first time.

And from what I read now the "hacking" was a really laughable action. It was not some fat guy sitting in a basement with alot of chips on his belly, hacking onto his keyboard, with a dozen of screens around him with the Matrix code flashing up and down. That guy who "hacked" it actually just pressed the "I forgot my password" button and was able to get past the three security questions to which he got the answers from using a bit of google. The eMail adress of her was floating around on the net before, causing obviously alot of attention from people trying to access it.

The morale of the story: If you a running for the second highest office in the US, don't use a Yahoo.com Freemail account.

I doubt that Palin even thought about just what a security risk such a eMail can be. That's why she as governator has goverment people who offer her a secure eMail addresse... She doesn't even have to pay for it. Which makes me think that Palin (and other politicans) don't use their official eMail accounts because they know that there is a "open records" act or whatever it is called that is trying to make the goverment work more transparent. The eMail leaks show clearly that she used it for goverment related stuff, and her choosing GOV.PALIN as name is not helping...

Umm, he's the one who posted the logon and password in the first place.

Wooh that boy was a real genius - he was worried about being found out so bragged about in on 4chan p-)

Also Palin wtf? Actually making things so easy and potentially she might end up with a bunch of launch codes when McCain shuffles off....
