Some of you might be interested in this. I was looking around the Net to see if anybody makes a semi-auto replica of the STG-44. I found this company in Germany that even uses the original markings. Unfortunately, I'll probably never get to own one with a price tag of about $5000.00. The second link is to the U.S. Importer for those interested.

I cant decide whether to go for the STG44 or the FG42?
Ammo would be cheaper for the FG42

Interesting I'd loved to have both Stg44 and FG-42 reproductions, but the price tag is bit salty. Good to see that export to USA worked out, as previous dealer who tried to get import license failed to get it.

I dont know the meaning of it...sadly the rifle is not mine.
that's an original StG44 but in order to be sold here in Italy the full auto mode has been converted in semi auto only.
maybe the company that converted it put that rollmark... just a guess

Well they make those too as straight pull repeater versions.:)
Even Brits can get those and they can deliver magazines down to 2rd versions too.

Funnily enough, I know a guy who just this past weekend told me he has ordered one of each. STG44, FG42, MP38
I'm thinking it must be the same outfit..........

Did you actually read anything on that SSD-Weapon site?:bash:
They are real functional weapons, but semi-auto only due to laws.
