I've tried e-bay, google, the search here, and several other websites. I'm looking for something similar to a standard police concealable vest in blue or black. Not for airsoft, but for Halloween. Since it's for a costume I don't need to pay hundreds of dollars for a vest with plates, I just need the vest itself. If anybody knows of any websites that sells them, please help me out.

Somehow, its more pathetic to have a loadout for halloween than airsoft

Awww, come on. It's the 1 day of the year which you are suppose to dress up as something you are not and enjoy it.

If you just want it for halloween, you would be best off just getting a cheap airsoft replica. Besides, if it is a concealed vest, is not really a good costume is it? Also, concealed police vests are normally white anyway.

I'm planning on wearing it over a t-shirt, and I have run into the white ones online, but there are also a lot of blue and black ones.

Every airsoft replica vest is tactical with like 80 useless pouches.

Just get the carrier, don't worry about the armor. That will save you several hundred dollars.

Look at www.galls.com.

Totally, that's what I've been looking for. No way, I am going to buy a full vest for a holloween costume. It just needs to look authentic, at least I nope no one is going to shoot me on holloween.

If it's Halloween, just visit the party shop for some random police stuff. Or... make your own!

Nope. As some others have said. Most concealable vest are in either black or blue. It was years back since most of them were white. Don't really know the real reason for black or or blue being the more common colors now but I sure as hell prefer my blue one over a white one. Why? Well, since I wear the damn thing some 45 hours a week with only a t-shirt underneath it, it gets really dirty and sweaty, fast. I really don't want to see it, the smell is enough, so a blue it is.

And yeah, I launder the carrier once in a while but still... :)

Maybe it is a Brit thing then, as mst of the ex police concealable vests that I have seen in surplus shops here have been white. I allways thought this was because if you had a dark coloured one, then it was more likely it would be seen through your clothes. Bear in mind I am talking about the proper "undercover" vests with the shirt tails , as opposed to the vest that people wear on TV shows like The Shield and 24, that can be worn above or below clothes.

**** that, halloween shops make total crap. Piecing together your own costume is the best way to do it. I'm convinced halloween shops exists for the lone purpose of supplying slutty outfits for women, not that it's a bad thing.

Also, I can't even get to the search bar right now my internets is really slow at school today, but is there an mp.net halloween thread?

Like this:

It looks pretty similar to the one I have altough I did cut the shirt tails off. Didn't like 'em and the vest kept sliding up anyway. It feels alot better without them. The color thing, I might add, is pretty pointless anyway. If anybody is wearing a vest under a shirt, sweater or a thinner jacket you will spot it anyway if you look. The seems on the vest show up through most cloths put over it and if you have plates in it, it will most certainly be spotted.

One of the foremost reasons, IMO, to wear the vest "concealed" is to not look like a ubertactical SWAT guy. And it also looks kind of silly to wear it on top...

The vest I have:
