EU report claims Iran developing ability to arm a nuclear warhead

VIENNA, Austria - The war of words over Iran's nuclear program is continuing.

The European Union claims in a report being submitted to the UN nuclear watchdog agency that Iran is close to developing the ability to arm a nuclear warhead.

The EU report to the International Atomic Energy Agency's 35 board members and made available to reporters also claims there is evidence Iran may have had a past nuclear arms program despite its denials.

Iran describes the EU report as "fabricated and baseless allegations" aimed at adding pressure to what it sees as a U.S.-led witchhunt.

I get a chuckle out of these reports...and the world, so concerned about the terrible iranain treat does...well, it goest to the UN to get antoher "Letter of severe concern" sent out to..well, anyone who is severely concerned.

See, that's the trouble with being all proper and legal and honest and moralistic and other such nonsense. The iranians will just simply have to prove to the world that they mean what they say. The world will properly react when London or New York, or what ever city that has pi55ed Iran off that day, is a smoking crater.

Until then, the world would be far better off to just chuckle and giggle at the Iranian threats and nuclear bomb making efforts.
