The only Bullpup I would buy is an AUG or the FN2000.

By the way I heard this rifle (bullpup Norinco) is coming to the U.S as well.

For that price an AR is WAY better.

Yeah but it so tempting. But I agree it is a good rifle but for 3K it ain't worth it. I also found a company in Canada that legally imports arms from dealers in the U.S. So it is much better worth it if you get one of those new Gas Piston AR's instead.

The Liberals want to ban everything. I have not heard of anything against the Bullpup though.

Just curious but who are "they", am I right with the Liberals? NDP?

Yep Dion made a whole lot of promises to Anastasia's family about banning all "military" firearms if he was elected.

Sadly if the Libs get elected, even with a minority, that law will pass because the NPD and Bloc will be behind the Libs

Will there be a grandfather clause for existing owners, or are they planning a blanket ban?

They're not military firearms, they just look like them.

A Ruger Mini-14 and an AR-15 are functionally very similar. The AR-15 is more heavily regulated for the simple reason that it looks scary. Look at the Assault Weapons Ban in the US, it was largely based on cosmetic features; pistol grips and flash hinders and other trivial crap.

Owning a firearm doesn't require a justification. Its like asking why you would want a Bugatti Veyron.

However, if you're so inclined to have a reason then wall hanger, drool/chick magnet, story anchor, or possible anti-zombie device are plenty good.
