Any idea why the cartoonists feel this way? Because this stuff happens. TONS of evidence about police brutalities in various South-American countries. I've seen with my own eyes how streetkids get beaten by police and how the ambulance drives away after they see that the kid laying on the ground is a streetkid. I invite you to go over there and hang around streetkids for 1 day and than talk how the police over there is handling things.

I think they may be somewhere few such cartoons... drawn by the American leftists or HR activists... but in general who in US cares about Brazilian Police? They don't make headlines in CNN unless they beat American tourist (what rather doesn't happen). It's not the question of attack and reciprocity... but simply a matter of public opinion's demand and cartoonists supply.
PS: As I am aware, not only Brazil is sceptic about US gun access policy.
