But coming back to the heart of the matter - check THIS (http://www.army-technology.com/projects/shadow/) website. The Shadow is a Reconnaissance, Surveillance, Targeting Vehicle (RST-V) developed by General Dynamics Land Systems for the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory, sponsored by the Defense Advanced Research Agency (DARPA) and the Office of Naval Research (ONR). Quite uncommon vehicle with those hybrid electric drive (and permanent magnetic hub motors, mounted one in each of the Shadow's wheel hubs)and pneumatic suspension.

yes but it looks (??) like more crap that is difficult to fight from.

With the doors on a HMMWV it is nie impossible to fight effectively from it, with the doors off you have no protection from even small arms fire.

The Canadian army does not have the EAGLE in service because it already has this in service:
http://www.sfu.ca/casr/mamb-5.jpg

Canada purchased the Mamba from South Africa's Reumach as a route-proving vehicle after we saw it in action with the Swedes in Bosnia. Besides, purchasing such a heavily armoured vehicles to fulfill light utility (ie. jeep type) roles would be impratical. A definite case of overkill.

Um.........if u read my other post Canada put the G-WaGon in service now as a Light Utility Vehicle. The mamba is used for driving in the front in patrol columns.

a light utility vehicle is not an amoured fighting Vehicle.
How many of these things can stop an RPG. Rpgs and there Bigger Brothers are more common than journalists on a third world Battlefield

didnt gm defence or something own the eagle. that this a a hmmwv with new skin.

that lambo chetah was very different from any military vehicle in that it has a mid mounted engine.

is the hummer considered a light utility vehicle because it is a bit bigger then all the others out there and the hmmwv did fair very well even when under fire.

the humvee is still my favorite.

Fresh off the press: This is the prototype of the "Ze'ev" (Wolf) armored scout vehicle, possibly to be purchased by the IDF. It's based on the Ford F550 Truckbed, and carries 10-12 men (depends on the buyer's needs).

The only flaming I see here is the flaming coming from you. Hypocrite. I called no-one names, nor did I swear. The only "retarded" person here seems to be you. Settle down, have a cup of tea or something, take a few deep breathes and relax.

Sweden went for the Land Systems OMC RG-32M
We are going to use it as a Mine Hardened Patrol Vehicle (MHPV) and as a Light Utility Vehicle (LUV)
for the UN NBG.
