Casting agents from TBS will arrive in Tampa on June 24 in a hunt for a real skipper, real millionaire (and his wife), real Mary Ann-like sweetheart, real model-actress, real professor and real goofball like Gilligan.
The location for ``The Real Gilligan's Island'' auditions will be announced soon, according to a TBS spokeswoman.
The show will be based on the popular sitcom about seven castaways.
It will feature a group of people who personify the original ``Gilligan's Island'' working together to try to get off the island. Episodes will be modeled after some of the situations that occurred in the original series.
Dead-on physical resemblance is not a requirement.
