TORONTO - Martin St. Louis has won the game of games. Celebrated the night of nights. Experienced the joy of joys.
Thursday, he capped it all off in what will be the month of months.
The Lightning right wing, three days off celebrating Tampa Bay's Stanley Cup victory, took home a handful of hardware at the NHL Awards Banquet at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. St. Louis took home the Hart Trophy as league MVP the Art Ross Trophy as the scoring leader during the regular season and was named first-team All Star at right wing. Earlier in the day, he was named the Lester B. Pearson Award as the player's MVP.
