Yes, I'm drinking alone. Yes, I'm comfortable with that. I'm not an alcoholic. I have a good relationship with alcohol. Kind of like a long-distance relationship really. We spend days, perhaps weeks apart, but when we meet, we **** each other until we can't stand.

By the way, Sapporo beer ****ING SUCKS. The Japanese make great cars and motorccyles but **** their booze. No more, I'm going back to the Irish, Scots, Canucks (thank you for Crown Royal, it's as good as hockey and far better than Alanis ****ing Morrisette), and the good ol' Stars and Stripes.

I wouldn't be drinking alone if I ****ing knew anybody in this town. But I moved here a year ago, and two ****ing days later started going to law school. And all my classmates are either 20+ years older than me, or htey're married, or they're just cutthroat assholes who I wouldn't want to hang out with. So no, I don't have any friends in this town to go do things with on a saturday night. It's not that I'm a social misfit (okay, in some ways I am but that's not the point), I've got tons of friends, it's just they all live 1000 miles away where I used to live. ****ing A.

Isn't it amazing how well I can type even when I can't stand? I've always been proud of that. Everyone has a superpower. Spiderman can shoot webs out of his wrists; I can type like a professional secretary even when I can barely read the computer screen.

I agree. If I'm sad or angry, I stay the **** away from the bottle. It only amplifies the emotion. I'd rather just be emo and sulk. But if I'm bored or happy, then a little "medicine" is definitely in order.

Yes, I'm drinking alone. Yes, I'm comfortable with that. I'm not an alcoholic. I have a good relationship with alcohol. Kind of like a long-distance relationship really. We spend days, perhaps weeks apart, but when we meet, we f*** each other until we can't stand.

I wouldn't be drinking alone if I f*** knew anybody in this town. But I moved here a year ago, and two f*** days later started going to law school. And all my classmates are either 20+ years older than me, or htey're married, or they're just cutthroat assholes who I wouldn't want to hang out with. So no, I don't have any friends in this town to go do things with on a saturday night. It's not that I'm a social misfit (okay, in some ways I am but that's not the point), I've got tons of friends, it's just they all live 1000 miles away where I used to live. f*** A.
