The SEP (Swedish abbreviation for “Splitterskyddad EnhetsPlattform”, Modular Armoured Tactical System) is a modular multi-role vehicle system. The SEP combines the high valued parameters:
- Low systemcost
- Low signature
- High mobility
- High flexibility
- High reliability
- Extremely high load capacity (weight/volume)in relation to vehicle weight/volume into a system for the future armed forces.

Survivability
An extremely low signature is a must to survive on the battlefield of tomorrow. A very high ambition regarding signature design has been set from the very beginning to avoid detection. The SEP has therefore a stealthy design in all wavelengths, from UV to radar.
Furthermore, the SEP is prepared for implementation of different kinds of warner systems, such as laser-, missile-, radar- and helicopter warning systems.
The vehicle is divided into different zones with different levels of ballistic protection, with the highest level for the personnel compartment.
