Just fired 1st proper rifle apart from shot gun as a child.

Was taking pics of a local derelict barn a few miles walk from village, and a young farm hand came walking past with this, made me jump, I cheekily said "nice air rifle" which prompted him to take out the little magazine of bullets and point out its .22, then he let me have a few goes.

Damn pyle. Thats nuts. Looks like a nice rifle, but i t just seems wierd to hear someone saying first proper rifle they have shot. I guess its different coming from the us.

Definitely looks like a Sako Quad. The color-code ring on the barrel gave it away. Green stands for .22 lr.

Why should he? It's a pretty enough rifle to take a photo of.
