About the Finnish Navy (I find the hull camo fantastic almost like in a Science Fiction movie :lol: ) what is the purpose of the small boat (the very first pictures)?

[DE_Six]

These are Jurmo-class transport. They are designed for coastal warfare, ie landing small teams of coastal rangers in key points. They have a flat bottom and reinforced bow to land against rocky shores. They also have water jet motors for shallow water operation. When it hit the shore, the large "barndoors" at the bow open to let out a team of coastal rangers.

Think of it as a big Rigid Raider with armor.

25 fully equipped men or a 3t payload at over 30 knots, or less in adverse weather.

It is a Finnish design, made by Marine Alutech Oy Ab.

I don't know I always looked at their uniform and said to myself "it looks too green." In the photo shown it clearly shows that this shade of green IS the right color.

No, it's apparently the mount for vv-2000, I can't of anything else it could be. And AFAIK, vv-2000's (which, at present, can be mounted only to the 95) are only issued to group and platoon leaders, hence the RK95 and RK62 combo. Besides, what's wrong with RK-62? It's a perfectly good weapon, IMO.

Are those black helmets used by the MP's boarding the ship some special stuff, only for the ones trained in boarding ships / or just for that exercise etc. ? Just wondering since i had the green composite helmet durin my time and that black one looks a million times more comfty :lol:

and BTW. do all MP's around the world train in such various stuff, i mean guarding duty is the main thing, but we did urban warfare, recon, rappelling, some vehicle tactics, VIP protection etc. etc. and now we're boarding ships too woot
