Hallo Gents,

can anybody give any information on this badge I recently

acquired here in Transylvania, Romania?

Particularly with regards what is written on the badge.

Item measures: 23mm X 27mm

Possibly silver or silver gilt.

Maker Marked: GREISBACH : KNA? over ZAGREB.

Top of Medal = Belgrade (in Cyrillic)

Left Side = Union of War Volunteers (in Latin)

Right Side = Kingdom of Yugoslavia (in Cyrillic)

This is just my guess so I am not sure but it looks like a badge for the TO-Teritorijalna odbrana .

Hallo INAT,:)

I cant seem to find anything on the page link you gave to connect my badge to the TO.

The badge is dated 1931 so its pre WW2, also lack of Soviet style Red Star or other Communist logo would seem to indicate no connection with those organizations.
